Peninsula: Starting with Hijacking Yoona

13. Lee Seung-gi's henchman

13. Lee Seung-gi's henchman

Both women were looking at the photos they had just taken on their phones. Bae Joo-hyun and Lee Hyeri were both confident in their looks, and now, huddled together, they silently examined each other's photos, comparing expressions, angles, and complexions in their minds. Although they didn't say anything aloud, they couldn't help but make comparisons in their hearts.

For a moment, Li Jingcheng was left standing aside. He wasn't displeased at all; he only found the scene before him particularly novel and interesting. The figure he had only seen on screen and in novels in his previous life was now truly standing before him, and for him, a slight sense of disorientation suddenly arose in his heart.

Having a bit of free time, Li Jingcheng took out his phone to check how his popularity was growing.

There's no way Yoona couldn't have missed this. She hasn't replied yet. Did she not sleep well last night and is she catching up on sleep today?

Okay, I was wrong.

He didn't send any more messages, planning to contact Yoona again tomorrow. When he checked Me2day, he was surprised to find that his follower count had increased by 30,000, even though he hadn't posted a single video. Yet, posts and comments discussing him were everywhere.

This made Li Jingcheng feel smug, and he was about to reply to a few interesting comments when his fingertips touched the screen, but suddenly his hair stood on end without warning.

As if a keen sixth sense had suddenly warned him, his body stiffened, and his gaze instinctively turned towards the intersection, locking onto a black sedan slowly driving by.

"This is malicious perception."

Li Jingcheng frowned slightly, immediately recognizing the car as the one that had followed Lin Yun'er that morning. He hadn't expected it to be following him; he'd probably been too excited and relaxed when activating the system to notice.

The other party didn't seem to care about traffic rules either, as the car sped across the side line and came to a sudden stop in front of the convenience store, with the door being forcefully pushed open.

Five adult men got off.

Lee Kyung-sung scanned the area but didn't see Lee Seung-gi. He felt a slight pang of regret; he hadn't expected the man to be so shrewd, distancing himself completely and avoiding showing himself. These men, dressed in shady clothes and sporting tattoos on their necks, were undoubtedly thugs hired by Lee Seung-gi.

He hadn't demonstrated Bajiquan yet, and I wanted to see if it was as fierce as portrayed in Hong Kong variety shows.

"Call the police!" Bae Joo-hyun immediately recognized these people as gang members. She no longer cared about looking at the photos; her fingers gripping her phone trembled slightly, and her voice was tense and urgent. "Kyung Sung, come in quickly! Those guys are gangsters!"

Lee Hyeri was also terrified. She immediately texted her agent at the company, her hands trembling as she held the phone.

"Don't worry, I'm here," Lee Kyung-sung suppressed the turmoil in his heart, reassured the two, and a confident smile appeared on his face. "Don't come out, I'll show you how powerful Oppa is."

Bae Joo-hyun's heart sank. She gripped her phone tighter, her brows furrowed, and her voice was filled with unconcealed worry, "Kyung-sung, are you crazy? There are five of them. How can you fight them all by yourself? I've already called the police, and they might not even be looking for us."

Li Jingcheng waved his hand dismissively, it was time for him to show off again. He took off his jacket and casually placed it on the table beside him. Underneath, he wore a black short-sleeved shirt that clung tightly to his body, instantly outlining the lines of his arms perfectly. His forearms were smooth and firm, his biceps slightly bulging, not exaggeratedly bulging, but exuding a powerful and toned physique.

He deliberately raised his hand, seemingly refusing to believe he couldn't seduce the two, and lifted his shirt, revealing his eight-pack abs to them without reservation. Each abs was clearly defined and sculpted, with sharp, clean lines, as if meticulously crafted. The V-line between his abs meandered downwards, outlining a smooth waistline. There wasn't a single ounce of excess fat between his firm muscles, exuding the uprightness and strength of a young man. Even the slight rise and fall of his abs with each breath carried a visually striking tension.

I refuse to believe I can't bewitch you two.

As expected, Bae Joo-hyun's words abruptly stopped. Her previously furrowed brows instantly relaxed, and the worry on her face vanished without a trace, leaving only a blank stare in her eyes. She instinctively held her breath, her hand gripping the phone paused slightly, her gaze fixed on Lee Kyung-sung's abs. A faint blush rose uncontrollably to the tips of her ears, and her cheeks subtly warmed. The words of dissuasion that had been on the tip of her tongue remained unspoken.

"Great!"

Lee Hyeri had long forgotten her fear. Her eyes were wide, her lips slightly parted, and her face was filled with amazement. She forgot to reply to her manager's message, forgot about the five gangsters lurking outside the door, her gaze fixed on Lee Kyung-sung's abs, her eyes filled with astonishment. She even subconsciously swallowed, then quickly covered her mouth, her cheeks flushed red, but she still couldn't help but look a few more times.

Upon seeing this, the five men outside the door instantly darkened their expressions. The leader, forgetting his pre-arranged script, pointed fiercely at Li Jingcheng and shouted, "Damn it, still flirting with girls here? Beat him to death!"

The same was true for the other four; jealousy can distort a person beyond recognition.

Li Jingcheng had no choice but to let go of his clothes, while simultaneously feeling annoyed that these idiots were so clueless about manners. Didn't they know that if he were in a better mood later, he might go easy on them?

Before he could finish speaking, the burly, tattooed man at the front had already swung his fist at his face, a smug smile on his lips.

"You little brat, you still dare to get distracted even in this state."

"What's your rush? If you're itching for a beating, you'll have to go outside first." Li Jingcheng casually gripped the other's fist with one hand, glancing at the two still stunned. Bae Joo-hyun hadn't put down her phone, which was recording, but since it was on camera, she'd have to hold back.

After all, this is the world of Korean entertainment, not Hong Kong variety shows.

Seeing the astonished look in the other man's eyes, Li Jingcheng was clearly surprised that he could catch the man's full-force punch so easily. He then grabbed the man's arm and walked straight out of the convenience store. The entrance to the convenience store could only accommodate two people at a time. He grabbed the burly man and slammed him into the other four people who were rushing towards him.

With a muffled thud, the four men were thrown back, staggering to their feet, their faces filled with astonishment. One of them couldn't help but mutter, "Damn, what does this guy do? He's got incredible strength!"

"Are you alright?" Bae Joo-hyun, filming the scene, hurriedly followed, but the blush on her face hadn't faded. At the same time, she coldly stared at the people sitting on the ground, "We've already called the police. You'd better leave right now."

"At worst, you'll be detained for a month and fined a little money. I just don't believe that you, you little bastard, can beat the five of us."

"Several members of Girls' Generation went back to the company to practice today. There were far more fans than usual when they were staking out the place. The police won't be able to get here so quickly. Hehe, I've decided, I'm going to beat your stinky face to a pulp."

It seemed the speaker was the minor leader. He threw his coat heavily to the ground, revealing his body covered in tattoos, and struck a pose with a cruel smile.

Hearing their elder brother's signal, the other four slowly dispersed and surrounded Li Jingcheng.

"Then I can confidently defend myself."

Li Jingcheng laughed heartily, a disdainful smile on his face, and swaggered past, completely unconcerned about being outnumbered five to one.
